#5 Digital Support

Does your business have other platforms, channels and profiles that you want consumers to access? You should use these to your advantage and strive to gain as much footfall as possible. Social Media is a popular platform for businesses to get connections and to advertise and you should use to its full potential. Try and link it across all platforms/ channels. For Example, HMV have links to all their external channels, so you can enjoy extra content like Interviews, Trailers and HMV Updates.

Basically, with all your website content, you should be thinking of what content is on the other channels to help you support your web content and increase your online presence. If you can sync/ link your channels together, then you will also save yourself a lot of time, for example, if you just published something on YouTube then it will automatically publish a post on Twitter linking to the video.

Even though Email has been around for a long while, it still plays a big part in marketing. It’s an easy way to send Updates, Offers and the Latest News to your consumers. These emails should include links to content on your website; this leads to a massive increase in footfall numbers.

Digital Support could also be automated chatbots that can help a user find what they are looking for without paying someone to be chatting. It means this chatbot service can be on 24 hours a day, so anyone can get help anywhere and anytime. If you’re interested in chatbots, check out our AI blog Here.

In next week’s blog, we will look at how you should make sure that the customer knows where to go next, especially when purchasing a product from you.
