What’s New in Business Central 2025 Release Wave 2
The Autumn brings the second major release of the year for Business Central, as part of the 2 wave annual update cycle. Here we look at the highlight features.
Google Merchant Center (American product, American spelling of centre!) is the tool used for including products on Google shopping. The requirement to be featured in Google searches is to keep stock and pricing up to date – which can be a very laborious task if you are doing it manually.
For those keeping their e-Commerce web store updated this is doubling up the work. Now you can automatically update from your website using our Google Merchant Center product feed plugin for nopCommerce. The Kitchen Sinks and Taps website, which we featured in a previous blog, included this plugin, and we will have a look at some of the results here.

If you are selling products on line, a great way to get seen is by providing a shopping result on Google searches. These are provided by Google based on Google Shopping and shows the details as provided through Google Merchant Centre.

Google Shopping provides a range of suppliers who provide the products searched for. If you are the only supplier on Google Shopping you will be the only one that is shown. From here users can see reviews of the products, pricing, product image and a product description.

Google Shopping allows you to compare sellers of the product, including the price, shipping and the seller rating.
Buying and installing the Google Merchant Center Plugin is quick and easy, whether you manage your own nopCommerce web shop or if you have a nopCommerce partner managing your site for you.

As real-time data insight, automation and scalability are now necessities and not luxuries, your ERP upgrade decision is more important than ever.
