Web Services are Application Program Interfaces (APIs) exposed on the Internet that allow people like us here at DC to build new and exciting features into your business application.
There are thousands of APIs available to almost every system and service you can think of on the Internet. These APIs allow us to push and pull information directly to and from your systems, be that Dynamics NAV or your e-Commerce web site.
Google Developers
Do you find your sales team are always using Google Maps to visualise where the customers are located? Using Google Map’s APIs https://developers.google.com/maps/ we can integrate a map directly into a NAV Add-in that places a map inside NAV right alongside the customer’s contact details.
Do you have a multi-currency e-Commerce site and find yourself updating exchange rates on a daily basis. Using a service such as https://www.exchangerate-api.com/ we can provide you a service that runs in the background of your e-Commerce site that automatically updates the latest exchange rates.
Google Maps
Do you tweet, use Facebook or LinkedIn? Using Web Services from these and many more social media networks we can add a consolidated feed of social information into your SharePoint/Office 365 Intranet home page.
The sky is the limit with vast array of Web Services available today. Here at DC our System Integration experts have had many years’ experience integration many different services into all of our different solutions.
