Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016® is the latest release of the well-known and established ERP solution for all kinds of businesses of whatever size. As you would expect, the package offers rich functionality within an easy to use interface.
Also as you would expect, the new release contains a number of improvements and new features across the package and you can find out more about these here. This blog gives some more information on the new and improved finance features Dynamics NAV 2016 offers.
This new feature is similar to the Navigate function which allows you to see all the various entries created when a particular journal or document has been posted. The difference is that Posting Preview allows you to see these entries before posting so you can see the effect they will have on the general ledger, stock balances, debtor or creditor balances and so on. More information on this feature can be found here.
Dynamics NAV 2016 offers a new feature which allows you to post a transaction in the current period but defer the income or expenditure for a defined percentage over a defined period. You can set up deferral templates to use for regular deferral patterns or create a one-off instance if needed. An example of how to set up a deferral can be found here.
