This new feature is similar to the Navigate function which allows you to see all the various entries created when a particular journal or document has been posted. The difference is that Posting Preview allows you to see these entries before posting so you can see the effect they will have on the general ledger, stock balances, debtor or creditor balances and so on. Dynamics NAV 2016 offers a new feature which allows you to post a transaction in the current period but defer the income or expenditure for a defined percentage over a defined period.
