Dynamics NAV 2015 Mainstream Support Ends

NAV 2015 Support Ends

Dynamics NAV 2015 was officially launched on 1st October 2015, we saw the arrival of a tablet client and many new improvements on the new look that had been brought in with 2013 R2. With improvements to the web client, NAV 2015 really felt state of the art and saw the start of the surge of technology in the ERP world. Five years on, NAV has evolved into Dynamics 365 Business Central, which is a massive leap in look, feel and capability.

As per the Microsoft Fixed Lifecycle Policy, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 has now come to the end of its Mainstream Support as of 14th January 2020.

Options moving forward

If you are running NAV 2015, there is no need to panic, as you will still be entitled to security updates, as per the Fixed Lifecycle Policy. However, new functionality for things such as legislative updates will not be included, and so it is best to get planning in advance. Furthermore, the difference between NAV2015 and the current day Business Central is noticeable, so it is worth talking to us about the benefits to your business of an upgrade. We now have quite a lot of experience in upgrading from NAV to Business Central, so why not talk to the team?
