The Autumn brings the second major release of the year for Business Central, as part of the 2 wave annual update cycle. Here we look at the highlight features.
In November 2016 we released a blog announcing Microsoft Teams. Satya Nadella announced the next big step in the Office 365 story for collaboration. This tool brings together a number of existing functionality, such as Skype for Business, Groups and SharePoint Online, to help people work together. Now, with a number of updates, including suggestions from users, the product has been released globally to 181 markets in 19 languages.
Microsoft teams is a chat based tool allowing conversations, both as threads as well as instant conversations. Also available for mobile devices, the tool allows people to discuss ideas, work on documents simultaneously, send group emails and receive channel notifications.
