Is Your Manufacturing System Holding You Back?

Microsoft Dynamics® NAV can streamline your manufacturing processes and has the flexibility to adapt quickly to changing demands. The solution provides the tools to manage goods and space more efficiently, reduce costs and waste, gaining control over the entire scope of operations.

The Dynamics NAV Manufacturing solution automates processes and provides visibility into all aspects of operations, from order entry to production, warehouse management and delivery.

Agile manufacturing allows you to plan rush orders, make exceptions and handle last minute changes to your manufacturing processes with multiple planning options, tracking and interactive action messages. Using a web browser, vendors can manage catalogues, enter drop shipment orders and maintain delivery dates.

Standard features within Dynamics NAV include:

Full MRP (Materials Resource Planning) and MPS (Master Production Scheduling).
Version controlled mutli-level Bills of Materials and routings.
Integration with advanced inventory or full warehousing.
Processing of sub-contracting operations functionality.

Capacity planning including work and machine centres.
Serial / Lot No. tracking.
Fully integrated with Financials, Sales & Purchasing.
Costing: expected / actual costs will flow through purchasing, production (WIP) into finished goods inventory and cost of goods sold.
Customisable.
Easy integration with other systems and suitable production machines.
Modules available for full Manufacturing and lighter Assembly operations. Assembly available as standalone or can be used in conjunction with Manufacturing.
Manufacturing and Delivery KPIs to improve customer service and the accuracy of promised orders.
We have experience of implementing Dynamics NAV Manufacturing solutions in high volume food manufacturers, engineering companies and specialist surgical instrument makers, to name but a few.

A significant feature of the Dynamics NAV environment is that it can be modified to suit most industries and customer requirements. An example of one of the modifications we have made for a customer is when receiving stock from suppliers, we provided an override facility that would allow direct consumption of components on production orders without the extra steps of having to put away and pick unnecessarily.
