What’s New in Business Central 2025 Release Wave 2
The Autumn brings the second major release of the year for Business Central, as part of the 2 wave annual update cycle. Here we look at the highlight features.
We would like to thank all of our guests for attending our Office Open Day in November, it certainly was great to see some new faces, as well as much loved familiar ones!
It was a busy afternoon with new, potential and existing customers attending, as well as some of our new neighbours welcoming us to the Locks Heath Centre.
The meeting room was full to capacity for the Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft SharePoint, Ecommerce Solutions and Web Development presentations. In between, there were plenty of product specific discussions, networking and partaking of refreshments!
After the event, to make sure that we had the balance right, we sent out a questionnaire (using our Document Sending functionality) to gauge the perception of those who attended. Here are some of the questions and corresponding answers:
Q - You received a warm welcome, enjoyed ample refreshments and a pleasant environment and the Dynamics Consultants staff were friendly and professional.
A - The overall response was ‘Strongly Agree’.
Q - The presentations were interesting and engaging, the presenters knew the subject matter and were able to answer any questions I had.
A - The feedback was very positive with those that knew about the subject matter selecting ‘Agree’ and ‘Strongly Agree’.
Q - Would you be interested in attending another Dynamics Consultants event?
A - All responders replied ‘yes’.
As the Open Day proved to be so popular, we are planning another event later in the year. Don’t forget to check our blog again for dates!

After a recent visit to the Digital Manufacturing 2day event in Coventry and an insightful presentation by Lord Chris Holmes, I thought I would delve a bit deeper into the current AI regulation facing UK industry.
Choosing the right ERP system when moving on from Sage 50 can shape how efficiently your business grows and adapts. If you want advanced features, greater flexibility and easier integration with familiar Microsoft tools, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is often the stronger option compared to Sage 200. As real-time data insight, automation and scalability are now necessities and not luxuries, your ERP upgrade decision is more important than ever.
