What’s New in Business Central 2025 Release Wave 2
The Autumn brings the second major release of the year for Business Central, as part of the 2 wave annual update cycle. Here we look at the highlight features.
We are living in a time of great change, with major updates in legislation, the UK’s position in the social and economic landscape, and working towards a greener climate. There are other changes in technology that make a big difference to the way your business operates – new technology such as Artificial Intelligence, as well as the way that development is done in Dynamics.
It is not just Microsoft that has made big changes – Dynamics Consultants has grown rapidly over the last 5 years and we have made a lot of changes to help improve the service that we offer. The values that we hold as a business are even stronger than when we had less than 10 people, and this is being built into the way that we operate.
In the past we have provided customer days which were split between technical content for the IT specialists and commercial content for the business managers. This event will be ideally suited to all of the above as the information that we will provide will have an impact on all areas of your business – it may be worth considering a number of key people from your business to attend this event.
We have based the event around our customers, however anyone using or looking at using Business Central wanting to know about the future of the Microsoft technologies will find this event useful.
There will of course be plenty of opportunity for networking.

After a recent visit to the Digital Manufacturing 2day event in Coventry and an insightful presentation by Lord Chris Holmes, I thought I would delve a bit deeper into the current AI regulation facing UK industry.
Choosing the right ERP system when moving on from Sage 50 can shape how efficiently your business grows and adapts. If you want advanced features, greater flexibility and easier integration with familiar Microsoft tools, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is often the stronger option compared to Sage 200. As real-time data insight, automation and scalability are now necessities and not luxuries, your ERP upgrade decision is more important than ever.
