We are pleased to announce the general availability of Microsoft Dynamics® NAV 2016, a milestone release of Microsoft’s business management solution for small and mid-sized organisations. Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 offers significant new capabilities in mobility, business insight, and cloud services, as well as deeper inter-operability with Microsoft Azure™, Microsoft Dynamics® CRM and Office 365™.

The world has become digital and businesses of all sizes are looking at how best to transform their organisations – to create greater efficiencies and streamlined business processes, to empower workers with insights anywhere and on any device, and to scale and grow securely through the power of the cloud.

New Capabilities

Manage marketing and build relationships with contacts utilising native integration of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. Another new function available to the cloud is the ability to deploy Microsoft Dynamics NAV on Microsoft Azure SQL Database, eliminating maintenance, reducing costs and providing enterprise standard high availability and security.

Experience Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 on the broadest range of devices ever, with a single Universal App from Microsoft for your smartphone, tablet, notebook, 2-in-1 and desktop computer, running on Android, iOS or Windows. There have also been over 60 enhancements to the Web client, with a renewed focus on simplicity, productivity and performance.

One of the most important pieces of any business solution is it's Finance Elements. Dynamics NAV 2016 launches new and improved features including Deferrals, Posting Preview and Word Forms to save time and improve the ease of data entry, enhancing the user experience.

Also new in NAV 2016 is Document Management, allowing you to capture, store and find incoming documents in NAV and OCR for invoices utilising Lexmark Invoice Capture Service. Microsoft have advanced their approvals capabilities and rolled it up into Workflows; enabling you to model real-life business processes such as best practices or industry-standard practices.
