Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is Launched

Last November we discussed the future of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations – Business Edition. The blog described the evolution of D365 for F&O to gain the functionality of NAV and with a new name, which has now been released – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Who it is for?
Microsoft’s messaging is that Business Central is a solution ideal for companies growing out of basic finance packages. The solution is also perfect for startups and entrepreneurs that want to invest in a solution that will grow with the business. The solution will be available for the following countries:

What is included?
Dynamics 365 Business Central grows the functionality of Finance and Operations to the full capability of NAV. This is available at two price points, the features are summarised as follows:

How much will it cost?
Pricing has only been confirmed for the US market, at $70 per user/month for Essentials and $100 per user/month for Premium
Indications show that the price for the UK will be as follows:
- Essentials £ 52.80 per user/month
- Premium £ 75.40 per user/month
- Team Member £ 6.00 per user/month
Please remember that this is cloud based pricing and will vary. The price will be fixed for the period of the 12 month contract.

We are still waiting for confirmation on the migration path from Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations to Dynamics 365 Business Central. However, Microsoft are due to make some announcements over the next few weeks regarding details on this. How do you buy it?
The software will be available to buy from April 2nd and is only available through Microsoft Partners, specifically those who are signed up to sell through the Cloud Solution Providers program.
