Posting Preview

This new feature is similar to the Navigate function which allows you to see all the various entries created when a particular journal or document has been posted. The difference is that Posting Preview allows you to see these entries before posting so you can see the effect they will have on the general ledger, stock balances, debtor or creditor balances and so on. Deferrals

Dynamics NAV 2016 offers a new feature which allows you to post a transaction in the current period but defer the income or expenditure for a defined percentage over a defined period. You can set up deferral templates to use for regular deferral patterns or create a one-off instance if needed. An example of how to set up a deferral can be found here.
