Dynamics Consultants has launched a suite of Dynamics 365 add-ons designed to enhance usability, strengthen control and improve insight across finance and operations. We’ve designed these apps for businesses that want greater clarity and efficiency from their ERP investment.
Dynamics 365 Business Central provides strong core functionality, but we recognise that many organisations require more tailored tools to improve reporting, productivity and operational visibility.
Here, we’ll cover our five new add-ons, their functionalities and how you can access them.
Our new suite of apps has been developed to extend Dynamics 365 in focused, practical ways. Each solution strengthens visibility, reporting or workflow efficiency within Business Central environments.
The apps include:
Each app can be deployed independently, while also complementing the others within a broader Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
Dynamics Center is an add-on that includes a range of different functionalities designed to support your day-to-day use of Dynamics 365 and make it more efficient and user-friendly.
Dynamics Cues enhances standard cue functionality within Dynamics 365 by allowing you to create your own custom cues with no code.
Dynamics Cues allows users to create meaningful visual dashboards within their role centre. These cues highlight key metrics relevant to users’ roles, such as overdue invoices or sales this month, enabling quicker action without relying on separate reports.
By surfacing real-time indicators directly within dashboards, Dynamics Cues reduces the risk of overlooked data. Finance teams can monitor cash flow indicators while operational managers track exceptions and approvals.
Take the documents you produce within your Dynamics 365 system to the next level with customisation options available as part of Dynamics Documents.
As part of Dynamics Documents, you can:
Dimensions within Business Central allow organisations to categorise transactions in detail by categorising transactions using dimensions and dimension value codes. This allows in-depth reporting across the business, allowing FDs to “slice” information and drill down into detail.
By categorising transactions using dimension codes and values, businesses gain instant visibility across departments, cost centres, projects, regions or any structure that reflects how your organisation actually operates.
While dimensions are incredibly powerful, Business Central is only as powerful as the data behind it. This means that dimensions can come a with a downside:
And when dimensions aren’t applied correctly, reporting quickly loses its value.
Dynamics Dimensions removes the admin – and the risk – when using dimensions.
Using this app, which is fully embedded into Business Central, dimension values can be automatically applied to records and transactions, ensuring consistency from the very start.
No more relying on users to remember which dimension to apply.
No more cleaning up data after the fact.
Just accurate, structured data every time.
Further to this, on creating new dimensions, this tool allows you to create dimension values against existing records.
Business Central has a huge capability around material requirements planning to allow for even the most complex businesses. However, this means that the majority of businesses find that the planning tools are complex and difficult to use.
MRP Express takes standard Business Central functionality and, without modifying any standard objects, focuses on the functionality most organisations actually need. Showing you exactly what to purchase, manufacture, assemble or transfer, based on real demand and supply, MRP Express makes MRP faster, easier to understand and ultimately helps to make informed decisions.
We are extremely proud to announce that all of these apps have been rigorously tested and approved by Microsoft to be added to its application store, Appsource. From here, you can get a free 30 day trial for all of the apps. It’s worth noting that all of the apps require Dynamics Center installed but not necessarily licensed. You can contact our admin team to order and pay for licenses and view our price list here.
It is also worth noting that customers with all-in support contracts are entitled to Dynamics Center and Dynamics Cues free of charge.
